Service Description

The Sprints Group is an event-specific programme for athletes focused on the sprint events (60m, 100m, 200m, and developing 400m sprinters where appropriate). This isn’t general speed training; it’s structured sprint preparation built around the technical and physical demands of sprinting: acceleration, max velocity, speed endurance, and race modelling. Sessions are coached with intent and progression. We prioritise high-quality sprint exposures, clear feedback, and enough recovery to keep speed the main stimulus. Saturday includes a track session followed by a guided weight-room block to build the strength and power that supports faster, more resilient sprinting. Weekly structure Tuesday (Track): Starts + Acceleration + Short Speed Thursday (Track): Max Velocity + Speed Endurance (dose by level) Saturday (Track + Weights): Track session (1:00–2:30) → Weights (2:45–4:00) What we focus on - Efficient mechanics under real speed (posture, rhythm, relaxation) - Acceleration qualities and start proficiency - True max velocity development (not just “fast running tired”) ”) - Speed endurance and race-specific execution - Strength + power development to support performance and durability Perfect for committed sprinters who want a coached environment, a clear training pathway, and a programme that respects long-term development while still chasing performance.
